How can I register ,y self hosted blog for API Please Help

  • I’m frustrated I hope you can help me.

    I am hosting one of my blogs on 1and1 ( I have other wordpress.com blogs too)
    and I can not fiind this bloody API Key. I read in a post here to register my blog. No instructions on HOW TO REGISTER MY BLOG. I asked in 20 different ways in search box. zip. There are instructions on how to register everything, but the blog.
    Please help

    Then you do have an API key. Look there!
    Why people can never make a difference between wp.org and wp.com?

    Go to one of your wordpress.com blogs, click on your profile and you’ll find the api key there. You can then use that key on your 1an1 blog for the Askimet plugin.
