How can I redirect the content folder?

In just about two weeks I’ve had over 600 404 errors because the mailchimp widget on my site keeps trying to direct people to https://www.actualitymedia.org/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-widget/js/mailchimp-widget-min.js
The immediate problem is obvious – there is no wp-content folder on my site because the site was being hacked to many times, so when I rebuilt it with greater security I renamed the content folder. However, I cannot find any way to edit the widget to rename the content folder it should be directing to. Is such an edit possible on my end, or did I rule the widget unusable when I renamed my content folder?
