How can I Rearrange the Order of my Posts in my Loop?

  • In the loop is it possible to rearrange the order that my posts appear in?

    Right now they are descending with my most recently posted topic at the top of the page. All of my posts are of events that my company is hosting and I would like them to be displayed chronologically in relation to when the event will be occurring.

    I was not the one who created my website, and I don’t know much about WP. I had a friend build the site for me, and he is under the impression that there is no way to fix this problem, and that the posts can only be displayed in the order that you publish them. Once they are published, you cant rearrange the order that the appear on the site.

    Can anyone help?
