How can I prevent an image slider's thumbnails from functioning as links?

  • Here is a live preview of the theme I’d like to use. Note that on the image slider, the thumbnails act as links to the post they represent.

    I understand that this is not that developer’s support forum, but their forum can only be accessed by paying customers, and before I pay for it, I’d like to know if anyone knows of a way I could prevent that from happening. I don’t want the images to link to anything at all.

    Is that possible?
