    Hello Support,

I am looking for a way to practically verify that the litespeed caching is indeed working.

For this, when i make any changes in any of the posts and update it, this updated post should not be reflected when I open that post in another browser. This will prove that I am seeing the older cached version of the post, and the caching is actually working.

I have tried everything to implement this but nothing seems to work. If I make any changes in any of the posts, i can immediately see the updated version of that post in other browsers where I am not logged in, which means the plugin is always purging on all types of updates.

However, the litespeed X-cache header shows a Cache: HIT successfully, but that is not a practical proof of whether the caching is really happening or not.

I have so far tried the following:

Enabled all the options to “ON” under Cache Control Settings

Default Public Cache TTL is set to 604800 seconds.

Under Purge Settings, Purge All On Upgrade is OFF, Auto Purge Rules For Publish/Update are all disabled and unchecked, Serve Stale is ON, Under Purge All Hooks, all hooks are removed.

Another things is that, since i have the Cache Logged-in Users set to ON, that means while I am logged in, the wordpress admin bar at the top should “disappear” for all the cached posts, but that is not happening, the admin bar is always present when i open any posts or pages, despite of having the posts cached in another browser.

I have checked the above issue by DEACTIVATING all the other plugins, but that did not help.

My website URL is: homemade-circuits . com

It would be great if there’s a quick way to address the above issue and stop the plugin from all sorts of auto-purging, unless and until the user manually forces a purging.

Thank you so much for your kind attention and time.

    Best Regards

I think it is solved now, because i can verify that posts are getting cached. I did a simple test. I toggled “Break comments into pages” in my wordpress, and checked the specific posts with comments, and found that they were not broken into pages, which proved that I was being served the cached version of those posts. Then, when I purged the cache manually, I could quickly see the comments broken into pages…

Thanks very much for your time…

    Yes, everything is alright.

The caching has been practically verified and I am convinced now that my site is getting cached, although I would have liked to see my wordpress admin bar “disappear” for the cached posts, as long as the “Cache Logged-in Users” was set to ON. If this was set to OFF, then the top admin bar could reappear.

Anyways, the practical caching issue has been checked and resolved now.

Many thanks for your time and attention.

    Kind Regards
