• I am experiencing a problem with the nextgen galleries.

Basically I’m looking to have 9 separate albums, with three per line.

I tried splitting them up into columns and rows x 3 but by default when you click on an album, it displays it vertically, instead of horizontally.

The only way I have managed to get around it so far, is by creating one row without columns, and the two below with three columns.

It seems to default to the horizontal setting of the top line.

What is the best way to do it?

    Thanks

    Rob

    Hi Rob,

Is it the the layout of the gallery thumbnail pages that your having trouble with (eg.https://yourfc.co.uk/gallery/?album=11&gallery=9) ?

If so, you seem to be getting the single column display because your page has one area holding the thumbnails with a width of 33% and then two other empty/unused areas with width 33% each. The thumbnails are stacked vertically because the rest of the page width is not available to expand into.

    I don’t know whats creating the two empty/unused areas – I don’t think its nextgen, they’ve div’s (<div style="width: 33%;" class="art-layout-cell layout-item-0">).

    Rgds.
