how can i make my header image a homepage link?

I did the short part:
Open the wp-content/themes/default/header.php template file.
Change from <div id=”header”> to:
<div id=”header” onclick=”location.href=’https://example.com/&#8217;;” style=”cursor: pointer;”>

and it worked. I use the default theme
