Hello beginner here so please offer some support or at least a hello not received any here in regards to any recent questions. Thank god for Google eh

I have created a custom post type called listings for which each item advertised as available on my site becomes an individual post.

I am looking to do a couple of things with these posts but really not sure I know how:

    A) I would like to make these custom post types searchable via a Filterable search box in the sidebar I have added taxonomies such as Location, Breed, Sex and Age do I need to create a search form or is there a better way

    B) On Search I would like the results to be displayed on an image Grid type page. what is the best way to achieve this should I be looking at a particular plugin

Many thanks for the Support in advance

    Regards

I have done both of these using the WP-Types toolkit. The Views plugin in particular is the one you’ll want to check out. Otherwise, you’d kind of be stuck building this from scratch.
