How can I make a contect without user registration in WordPress

  • Hello,

    At first I’m sorry for my bad English, my Dutch is better ??

    Ik want to make a contect for our photoclub with the possibilty that everyone could upload a maximum of 3 photo’s without a registration as user inside WordPress. Is this possible?

    I have try to registrate user and he should become a mail for accepting but the was no mail send?

    I try to upload a photo but I vcan’t find them with the code i.e. [cg_gallery id=”1″]. When I do that I become a option to upload a picture en I see never the photo. I find the photo on the server in the default uploaddirectory 202002. What I doing wrong?

    So I have a lot more questions may be can someone me help with it, maybe a dutchguy?

    <<< It is only possible with registration. Because it is the only way to be 100% sure that same user is uploading.

    Please go also sure that you have the latest version installed. Currently it is 10.9.5.0.1

    Thanks for the response but I don’t want that user will be registrated because we have a part of the website for members of the club with information only for them. But did I understand it gooed that it can’t check on ip-badress?

    That is a new request. So far I was asked to implement it only for registered users.
    There are some tasks in queue which I like to finish. Then I will start your request.
    It will be ready in this quarter.

    Hi Everyone,

    Not to budge in but:

    !) I’m Dutch, so I would be able to help if there is any misunderstanding
    2) Please do correct me if I’m wrong, but users registered in CG (contest Gallery) can be disallowed access to the website as they are only group member of the CG group.
    You should be able to disallow access if you’ve set the user access rights correctly.
    3) If you want to allow upload for your registered users you can change that in the user setting of CG under Registration options change ‘Contest Gallery User’ to what ever your registered users are, and make sure they can only see the gallery when ‘logged in’ under Gallery options.
    4) last resort if things still do not work, there is an option to upload the picture yourself. Make sure they can only see the gallery when ‘logged in’ under Gallery options and upload the picture yourself, this way only registered users can vote for the images uploaded.

    I hope this will help at least to ensure you this will work because I am certain it will.
