How can I limit the number of asides?

  • I’m wanting to move my asides into my sidebar and do two things:

    1.) remove the asides category from the main loop, so they aren’t counted towards the total number of posts

    and, more importantly:

    2.) limit the number of asides that display in my sidebar. Say, the 5 newest ones.

    How would I go about doing this? I did a few searches here but came up with nought.
