How can I keep 5 listed items to be displayed?

    Hi, thanks for the great plugin.
    Now, I want to keep 5 latest calender events to be displayed, and those events inclued multi-days events as one list event.

    I am using “List” type calender to show the latest events with setting as following:

    • Calender setting -> Appearance -> Limit Visible Events -> yes “5”
    • Google Calender -> Maximum Events -> “8” (Due to multipul days events.)

    With this setting, the number of listes items are not stable, and I don’t know how to fix the setting.

    Would you let me know how should it be?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    In regards to your query here, are perhaps stating that the number of events rendered are not always 5? If so, please ensure that there are always events in between the Earliest Event and Latest Event periods that you set in your Calendar Settings > Events section. Else if there are no events, then that would mean that there are inconsistences in the events rendered.

    Yes, that what I wanted to say. “the number of events rendered are not always 5”
    Thanks, I will check Calendar Settings > Events section.

    Well, I understand that is caused by multiple days event on google calendar, such as 2 days event in week-end (for example, a camp event on Saturday and Sunday) It should recognized as 1 event, but as I understand it, the plugin will recognized as 2 events. that’s why I am setting “Google Calender -> Maximum Events -> more than 5”

    Well, I will test with some other calender. I can’t test with production site..

    Hi there,

    Thanks for keeping in touch with us.

    In regards to your example here, the calendar treats such an event as a multi-day event. A single event but spanning to two days. It will hence be rendered twice. If you wish to have the event rendered only one, you need to set the option “Expand Multi-day Events” to “No, display only on first day of event”.
