How can I install WooCommerce on a self-hosted WordPress site?

Thanks for the information. I am trying to set up a test WooCommerce site on WordPress so that I can try out some transactions and retrieve them via api but as you can see from the video it says link expired whenever I try to upload a WooCommerce plugin that I have downloaded.

It sounds like you’re having trouble installing WooCommerce from the WordPress add new plugin page.

This is an error thrown by WordPress, so it’s not a WooCommerce thing (since it’s not even installed). Check out this troubleshooting article which may be helpful in solving the problem.

If need be, it is also possible to manually install the plugin following this tutorial.
