I ran a security scan at upguard.com and was adviced to remove wordpress version, plugins versions and theme’s version from the source code. I already removed the wordpress version, but I don’t seem to find anywhere teaching how to remove the plugis versions and the theme’s version from the source code.

I understand the reasoning, but as a practical matter it’ll make little difference. Hackers generally don’t check versions, they assume a vulnerable plugin exists and try the exploit on every site they can find. The exploit will either work or it won’t. It’s more efficient than checking first.

Anyway, removing version references could cause caching issues. How the versions are added varies by theme and plugin, so there’s no single fix.
