How can I have users enter items for sale?

    I have come from Joomla but it is so slow that I think WordPress might be better for this. I want to create an e-commerce site that allows people to post things for sale and buy through the site. Kind of like – You join, confirm your account then you post that you want to sell a Widget for $10. If someone wants to buy the widget they buy, I get the payment and when I receive confirmation I will release the fund on my own.

    Is there a good way to do this??
