I would ALSO like the STRIPE option to pay display here as well.

What are you referring to when you say STRIPE option? This plugin offers Google Pay and Apple Pay as available payment methods for product and cart pages.

This is a Stripe plugin also isn’t it ?
Therefore I thought I might be able to see the Stripe payment option ALSO in those areas rather than JUST on the checkout page.

Not everyone has Google Pay or Apple Pay.

    Thanks

Stripe is the payment gateway provider, it’s not a payment option.

Google Pay and Apple Pay are payment options offered through Stripe.

There isn’t a “Stripe” payment option, that doesn’t exist.

    HI

    So I’m bit confused.

I’m using another plugin (not this one for another customer using Stripe) called WooCommerce Stripe Gateway and this enabled the customer to Pay via Stripe by inputting the credit card details there on the page in the Checkout page. There are no other options on that plugin for Gpay etc but it allows payment via Stripe Gateway.

Therefore I am confused with what you just said that there isn’t a “Stripe” payment option, that doesn’t exist.

I should by using your plugin have the option for customer to choose Stripe for payment or Gpay or Apple Pay for payment option like Paypal.
That is available in the other plugin my client is using therefore confused why that is not available on this plugin.

These 3 options are shown in Payment Options of Woocommerce:
So client should be able to pay via STRIPE Credit Card (if they don’t have Apple Pay and GPay yes ??

Stripe Credit Cards – Pay via STRIPE (Credit Cards)
    Yes
Credit card gateway that integrates with your Stripe account.
    Manage
Stripe Apple Pay – Apple Pay
    Yes
Apple Pay gateway that integrates with your Stripe account.

Stripe Google Pay – Google Pay

@kristinubute your reference to a “Stripe” payment method is the credit card gateway which this plugin does provide. This plugin supports:

    – Credit Cards
    – GPay
    – Apple Pay
    – Local payment methods
    – Split payment methods like Klarna, Afterpay

So client should be able to pay via STRIPE Credit Card (if they don’t have Apple Pay and GPay yes ??

Yes, you need to enable the Credit Card gateway if you want to offer a credit card form on your checkout page. But per your first entry in this thread, you were asking about a “Stripe” payment option for product pages. There is no “Stripe” payment option. There are credit card/debit cards, Apple Pay, GPay, and local payment methods. Stripe is the payment provider that allows you to process those payment options.

    OK thanks for the clarification.

I have the terminology wrong by the sounds of it.
When I say Stripe I automatically think of it as the Credit Card option also.
    Thank you for clarifying.

So to enable the Credit Card option I just tick it, is that all ? Or are there other settings for this ?

It is still not displaying in the CHECKOUT area on APPLE device. It displays on my mobile which is Android but doesn’t show on Apple device.

ALSO can you confirm HOW to fix the issue I have with GPAY NOT displaying at all on Apple devices on particular browser.

It displays the Gpay icon on my mobile which is ANDROID device but NOT on client phone Apple device using Browser Google Chrome.

It displays on browser Safari only and most people use Google Chrome as browser for mobile phone also.

ALSO my client tested the website and as they have an Apple phone and have Apple Wallet already setup, the Apple Pay is NOT displaying on their phones at all.

How do we fix this ? What other setting do I need to fix or change ?

It says in the settings area:
In order for Apple Pay to display, you must test with an iOS device and have a payment method saved in the Apple Wallet.

    Thanks in advance

No, that is all. If you want to change any of the default settings go to the Credit Card Settings page.

It is still not displaying in the CHECKOUT area on APPLE device. It displays on my mobile which is Android but doesn’t show on Apple device.

you must use Safari when using an Apple device.

ALSO can you confirm HOW to fix the issue I have with GPAY NOT displaying at all on Apple devices on particular browser.

That’s not an issue. GPay isn’t supported on all browsers so it will show based on those parameters.

LSO my client tested the website and as they have an Apple phone and have Apple Wallet already setup, the Apple Pay is NOT displaying on their phones at all.

They must have a credit card stored in the Apple Wallet. It’s not enough to just have an Apple Wallet.

Make sure you clicked the Register Domain button in the Stripe plugin’s Apple Pay settings.

    HI

    Thanks for your reply.

    You mentioned:
That’s not an issue. GPay isn’t supported on all browsers so it will show based on those parameters.

Just to ask, if Gpay is showing on my Android device in Google Chrome, why doesn’t it show Gpay on Google Chrome on Apple device ? That is strange showing on Google Chrome on 1 device and NOT another ?

I have found a previous ticket somewhere else and it says that Gpay can be viewed on Apple device on Safari and Google Chrome. Google Pay is also displaying when viewing the products using the Google Chrome web browser someone has said.

    APPLE PAY
My client has credit card stored on their Apple Pay account, but Apple Pay is still NOT displaying at all on their devices in either browser on Apple device.

    Please advise regarding Apple Pay.
Was there some other configuration I have to do for Apple Pay.
I have already Registered and linked Apple Pay domain already.
Where can I go to 100% check the Apple Pay connection etc ?

    Thanks

    Hi

    I found this link https://support.stripe.com/questions/enable-apple-pay-on-your-stripe-account

With regards to Apple Pay, I’m following the instructions now.
Just a question regarding Apple Developer ID . I have logged in using client’s Apple ID to create Apple Developer ID.

Am currently setting up Apple Pay for your iOS app

    Then I go to this:

Next, go to this page on Apple’s Developer Center
    1. Select the Merchant ID you’d like to add this certificate to, then click ‘Create Certificate’ in the Apple Pay Payment Processing Certificate section.
    2. When it prompts you to upload a Certificate Signing Request, choose the .certSigningRequest file you just downloaded.
    3. Verify your certificate details are correct. First, click Activate to enable the certificate, and then click Download to save it locally.

I keep getting this when clicking on the link – Next, go to this page on Apple’s Developer Center

    Access Unavailable

This resource is only for developers enrolled in a developer program or members of an organization’s team in a developer program.

    Any ideas please ?

Do I have to pay for a Developer Membership of $149 ?
    It says:

    Purchase your membership.

To continue your enrollment, complete your purchase now.

Your purchase may take up to 48 hours to process.

Stripe have said they don’t think I need to do that, but they are looking at it now.

Does anyone have ideas on HOW to set it up properly in the IOS for Stripe please ?

    Thanks
    Kristin

By using the Help button that is on every page of the Stripe plugin settings pages.

With regards to Apple Pay, I’m following the instructions now.
Just a question regarding Apple Developer ID . I have logged in using client’s Apple ID to create Apple Developer ID.

You don’t need to do any of that.

Do I have to pay for a Developer Membership of $149 ?

No, if you followed our documentation it’s clear you don’t have to purchase a developers license through Apple. All you need to do is click the “Register Domain” button in the Apple Pay Settings page.

Does anyone have ideas on HOW to set it up properly in the IOS for Stripe please ?

Please look at our documentation for Apple Pay, there’s really just one step which is clicking the Register Domain button.

    Hi

Yes as I already mentioned to you, I have already clicked “Register Domain” button in the Apple Pay Settings page of your plugin.

    I already told you that.

When I login to Stripe where it shows whether APple Pay and GPay is activated they are both already activated. And when I am in our Stripe account and click on Apple Pay it already has the 2 domains with www and without already there, therefore that means that it is already registered …

But it is STILL NOT viewing on client Iphone which he has Apple Pay already set up with a Wallet with a credit card as I already mentioned to you.
Client has a Wallet already setup with credit card… but Iphone still not showing Apple Pay.

Therefore I’m still stuck with the same issue ??

    Thanks
    Kristin

    (@kristinubute)

    When I’m in stripe account

    Click on Apple Pay
    Web domains
and it shows the domain name here with www and without www

Therefore it is registered by the looks of it.

    Thanks
    Kristin
