How can I get rid of the space above my tagline?

In viewing the page source, it looks like you have a stray </p> element in the first banner row (right after the header image) that is causing the extra space. Can you take a look and see if it’s there?

As far as the indentation for Off Grid Insights, you are referring to the comments? Go to Settings → Discussion and check the box labeled Enable threaded (nested) comments __ levels deep .

OMG. I looked at that several times and didn’t see the </p> … I think part of not seeing it was that the line was right up against the edge of my screen. I thought I was going to the end of the line, but it was shooting me back to the beginning without me having time to see the absolute end.

It’s now corrected and I’m SO happy. ??

Actually, it’s the tagline for Off Grid that’s indented a bit.

In terms of Discussion: I read somewhere that comments can have embedded … I forget if it’s a hack or malware or what, but something that would be bad in terms of security.

So I don’t approve comments anymore. I write an email response to the person, instead. Some comments are clearly spam-esque, at best. But some sound so sincere… and yet spammy at the same time. So, I try to be friendly… but safe.

Ah, OK, now I see. The indentation of the tag line is done using this rule:
