How can I get rid of the red boxes?

    Hello Paul,

    thank you for your much needed ‘insert pages’ plug in. In works like a charm.
    Do let me know how I can get rid of the red boxes applied to title and h2 markups.
    Couldn’t find anything causing it in your plugin css.

    Any takers?

    Looks like the red background is added in your theme css, line 288:
    https://neuewerbung.org/wp-content/themes/clutterless-child/style2.css

    You can use the inspector tool built into your browser to quickly find where styles are inherited from. In the screenshot below, I inspected one of your elements with a red background in Chrome, and looked in the Styles list until I found where the red background was coming from:

    Thank you Paul,

    and also thank you for helping me out with instruction.
    I never notice the style2.css and simply deleted it (since it belongs to a totally different theme) which got rid of the problem.
