How can I get my product categories to display in Hierarchy

I am trying to display my woocommerce product categories in hierarchy I am selecting the “Show hierarchy” toggle to on and it just displays a list. The Hierarchy shows in the display panel on the left but not on the site. I have tried everything and cannot seem to make any progress getting this to work?
