• I just got my webserver blog up and running. I have the main blog page, a bio page, and a personal page. It seems like the additional pages are just a big space for different content. Is there a way that I can configure the personal page to work like the main blog page? That way the main blog page will be geared toward my commercial photography, and my personal page will be a personal blog showcasing my personal work. Any info would be great since I am just getting familiar with the word press world!

  • Yes, you can…

You would need to create a ‘custom’ page template that has ‘the loop’ for your posts in it. Most themes don’t come standard with this however.
There is also a problem of separating the content (knowing which page it belongs to)

it might be challenging but this can be done ??

    Hi,

You can set your personally developed page a index page of your blog from wordpress admin section…to do that you need to use the static page and frontpage features of wordpress blog.

Please set FrontPage of your blog from wordpress admin -? settings -> reading section.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.
