How can I get a static page to display category listings?

Hello,

I have two categories one is called Articles and the other is Tutorials. I have a link in my menubar called Articles and Tutorials that points to a static page. I would like that page to display a list of all posts in the Articles and the Tuorials category.

What is the best way to accomlish this?

I tried smartarchives.php but did now work at all.

I am not a coder but I would think that all I need to do is add the correct php commands to the static page so that it calls in the cateogory listings. Where can I find those commands?

Any suggestions?
