• I’d like to use the Flash uploader, but I see no option to do so. When I click on the media uploader, I see only the browser uploader and a message saying “You are using the browser uploader.”

Like some of the people who have posted in this thread, I’m usually able to see flash on my system (Mac OSX, Chrome), so this may be a server configuration issue. . . .

  • I had an old plugin called ‘WordPress Tweaks‘ enabled that was causing the conflict. I disabled it and it is working again. You might want to try disabling it if you have it. Good luck!

Thanks, hc_wp. Not using that plugin, so it’s not causing the problem — but thanks for the suggestion.

Still have no ability to choose the Flash uploader. Tried three different browsers — Chrome, Firefox, and Safari — and seems to automatically force the browser uploader with no option for using the flash uploader.

    I’d appreciate any help!

Is your flash up to date?

Maybe try disabling all your plugins and see if you can use the flash uploader to test if it is being caused by one of your plugins. It possibly could be the theme as well…
