How can I edit image gallery on WordPress 4.0?

    I use the Luminescence Lite theme for almost 1 year. Since the wordpress was updated to 4.0 version, I couln’t find the button to edit image gallery. I already updated the theme, too. Could you please help?

  • WOW…didn’t realize I had that theme that long…time flies!

    Anyway, it should be the same way as before…open the page your gallery is on and click on the gallery area that is there to edit.

    I tried exactly what you said. But the button of edit gallery didn’t appeared. In fact I can’t select or delete the gallery once it’s created…

    Sounds like you have a glitch somewhere. What should happen is when you click on any image in your gallery in your page (in the admin side), there should be an icon in the upper left corner of your gallery area that looks like a pencil. If this does not happen, perhaps try making your gallery once again, but if this still does not work, then there is something else with your WordPress…maybe something didn’t go 100% with the update.

    I just tested this on my local site using Luminescence Lite and created a gallery of 6 images. While I was in my page editor with the gallery, I clicked on an image and my edit icon button in the upper left showed up. I then made the edit and added 3 more images.
