• I am using WP5.4 with the 2014 theme. the site is [ redundant link removed ] and we use a logged in members area for reading material in pdf. It opens pdf media files using an Attachment Page. I can edit the heading on the attachment page via the Edit Media, but how can I use a better colour and font? Also, I always have a text box at the bottom of the page, below the reading box for the pdf document, how can I remove that please? The text box always have “Published in” and the file name in it. Are these things in the theme that I can change? I am new at this and would appreciate your advice, thanks … Roger

  • Hello @bert46

how can I use a better colour and font?
You can get this done by customizing your theme. Go to Your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize

I always have a text box at the bottom of the page, below the reading box for the pdf document, how can I remove that please?
You can add and remove any blocks you don’t need on your webpage to do this Go to Your Admin Dashboard > Pages > Select the page and click on edit

The text box always have “Published in” and the file name in it. Are these things in the theme that I can change?
When you’re on page edit mode you’ll be able to see the blocks which are editable.

    I hope this helps.

HI, thanks for your reply but it doesn’t help me. I am using pdfsecure plugin to read the pdf files and it opens a temporary “attachment page” each time … it’s not a permanent page so I can’t edit it like a normal published page. I guess that it uses a template somewhere in wordpress, but I can’t find it to edit it!

    Hello @bert46

Have you checked the pdfsecure plugin settings if you’re able to customize it from there?

If you’re not able to make adjustments from the plugin settings this means you’ll have to contact the plugin developers for further assistance.

I hope this answers your question.
