First of all, you plugin is really great and very advanced as compared with other seo plugins.

I have installed mingleforum plugin and using it on a page where i don’t want to use wordpress seo plugin, or if plugin cannot be disable, only titles need to be disabled as mingleforum uses the title structure like forum > topic > thead , and that makes a pretty good breadcrumbs title structure which helps in seo for mingleforum as it is inserted in a single page.
Now wordpress seo is showing structure like forum name – site name, and it will show the same title for any topic or thread selected in mingleforum.
I want some expert coders to help me disable the plugin or just the title rewrite funciton on that specific page, maybe by using any add funcion code in the functions.php file by giving special command for that page id?
Just have a look at my forum and see what the title does to my page.

Also, i want you to add this funcionality in your next update to disable the plugin in any page, just like the all in one seo pack.

  • I would like to know the same think. I want to disable the plugin for a single page. Is this possible?

Me too, please advise how it can be disabled on a specific page.

Another vote here for the ability to turn it off on selected pages. I have a directory which uses the same base page (www.mysite.com/directory/company-listings) to show individual company listings using a parameterised version of the same page url (www.mysite.com/directory/company-listings/?c=123-acme-incorporated), but I need to override the canonical link, page title and meta description on a per-company basis. Can’t do it while Yoast is running on that page and forcing identical canonical links, titles and descriptions! Would be great to just exclude the page from the otherwise terrific plugin!
