How can I decrease width of custom sidebar?

    Hello

    I am using a child theme of the Frontier theme. It supports left, right and double sidebars.

    For most pages I use a 1 RIGHT side bar. But for some pages, I use 1 LEFT sidebar to display a custom menu. However, the default Frontier sidebar is too wide. For the menu (basically just page titles) I only need 1/2 the width of the sidebar.

    So that is why I downloaded your plugin. I was hoping I could create a NARROWER sidebar.

    I’m new to website design and I cannot see an option to change width in your plugin. I also don’t know much about coding or css.

    I would appreciate some feedback.

  • Hey there helloeng,

    How are you doing today?

    Custom Sidebars doesn’t allow you to change styles to the sidebars your theme is using. It just allows you replace your theme sidebars on specific places like posts, pages and so on.

    Something like this is related to the theme styles and you’d have to do this with some custom CSS. Can you please post link link to your site where you want to reduce this and I’ll be happy to try to assist you with this ??

    Ok, I will just reduce the width of all my sidebars. I know how to do that for my theme.
