How can I create French Product pages?

Please bear with me because I’m just learning how to do this. The answer could be obvious and I’m just missing it. Maybe there’s a manual somewhere I just haven’t found. Hopefully I can explain my issue:
I’ve used your plugin to manually translate the other pages on my site, but I’m wondering about product pages and categories. I understand that you’re not ready to release WooCommerce integration, but is there any way I can manually change it? The problem I have is if I click on a product category while on french, I get a “page not found”, because the link goes to MYDOMAIN.com/fr/categorie-produit/brochure-accessories and there doesn’t seem to be a tab on the categories page to create something behind the /fr/?
It seems to sort of work – for example, if I’m toggled to french, my cart says “Votre panier est actuellement vide.” and there is a “Retour à la boutique” button, which I didn’t manually create. The fact that it wants to direct to /fr/categorie-produit/ means there must be some sort of functionality, but how do I create that category? And then subsequently the products to also go in the /fr/ directory?
