How can I create an automatically updating slideshow?

  • Hi everyone. I’d like to create a slideshow page for my wordpress site (https://www.lynkos.net/) containing images named (for example) img-1, img-2, img-3, etc. where I can update the slideshow simply by replacing the images in the folder with newly uploaded images with the same name. Any ideas how I can achieve this? Nothing too technical please as I am a complete beginner in coding. thanks, Sarah.

    Coding’s fun and all, but use a plugin when you can!

    Something like Soliloquy would be simple and effective, no coding required!

    The fastest way to install it would probably be to go to your Dashboard and click on Plugins > Add Plugin and search for Soliloquy. The plugin was developed by Thomas Griffin. Just click Install and then Activate on the next screen and follow the prompts.
