How can I choose the destination of the login

    I have a a problem figuring out the landing page after I login, the current landing page is ‘membership-account/membership-checkout/?level=1’.

    So my question is how do I get the successful login landing page to go to a page of my choice.

    One issue I had was the the password reset was crashing out to a blank screen and after some investigation on the excellent documentation I got it to work by using the wordpress default login box, I don’t know if this is a problem regarding the successful login

    The following code recipe should help get you started and redirect you to a specific page after logging in.

    You would need to change lines 9 and 12 to match your preferred destination page.

    In terms of a white screen on your password reset page – this isn’t normal behavior – if you want to revisit this (noting that you mentioned you changed to the default WP page), please navigate to Memberships > Settings > Pages and set your /login page to the default page so that we can take a look and see what could be causing this.

    Hi,

    I have deleted pmpro content and deactivated and removed the install then re-installed the plug in again hope this works.

    It seemed there were strange goings on and the landing page from login should have been /membership-account but it was landing on /membership-account/membership-checkout/?level=1’.

    I feel the landing page should be /membership-account and should happen automatically and not need the work around.

    I will retest again later today and report back.

    If the member clicks on the ‘Login’ button on the checkout page, they would normally be redirected back to the checkout page with their initial chosen level after logging in.

    Please let me know what you find on your side.

    I have installed and set up the plugin and all seems to be as I expected, I wonder if I had got things a bit messed up with all the different attempts to set up.

    The one question I have is Why is there 2 login pages, Login and Login-2

    I’m so glad to hear it is now working for you.

    Those pages might have been created twice for some reason. You can delete one of them and then navigate back to Memberships > Settings > Pages and ensure that the correct (current) login page is still set and hit save.
