How Can I Change the Thumbnail Size When Displaying Albums?

    Hi. Im not sure if this is a bug with the latest version or not but I’d like to be able to change the teeny size of the thumbnail when inserting multiple albums on a page. I created an album using two galleries, inserted it on my page as a “NextGen Basic Thumbnail Album” and under “Customize Display Settings” the option to override the thumbnail size disappears. So, I select “Basic Thumbnails” as that is the closest thing I want to use. My thumbnail size is set to 185×185 in my media settings, but they are coming out to to 91x68px (see page here: https://www.thepixelboutique.com/testblog1/photo-gallery/) Is there no way to change this size? If so, where? What am I missing.

    HI All,

    Thanks for this useful discussion. If I Look at gallery settings under Basic Compact Album there is an option to set the thumbnail dimensions. This feature may be an update since the last post but it is rather strange to have this if the size is hard coded.

    Nevertheless changing the thumbnail dimensions does not seem to do anything to the album display, regardless of clearing caches and regenerating thumbnails and creating a new album after the change.

    Any thoughts??

    @pixelkicks No, album thumbnails re-sizing is now part of the options for customization.

    @tizz, how do you do it, I see no way to resize ALBUM thumbnails in the options for customization, that only works for Gallery images.

    @jazzsnob, Gallery settings > NextGEN basic albums for a general setting, in post/page editor via ATP button > Customize the display settings for a post/page basis setting

    Is there a way to get the “basic compact album” thumbnails to show larger? I’ve set everything to 165pxX165px in the “Gallery Settings”and on the pages but when I use the “basic compact album” setting on the pages it still comes out small. If I change it to “extended album” on the pages it shows the larger thumbnail but not in the “basic compact album” setting.
