MailPoet is initially installed in the same language as your site’s language.

Did you change your site’s language after MailPoet installation?

If so, you can download an English translation file from Transifex and install it on your site: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/169-how-to-translate-the-plugin-to-your-language.
