How can I block sending email notifications to the main site admin?

  • Is it somehow possible to configure the plugin, that the main Site Admin (and/or Superadmin) wouldn’t get any notifications automatically. I’d like to know if the plugin could be configured to notify only either specific email addresses that are listed .. (and/or) .. the post editor/author, etc.?

    I actually LOVE the options and the way you have it set up. But if possible, I’d love to see one more checkbox, that would ..

    __ DO NOT send comment notification emails to the main site Administrator

    I’ve tested this and no matter what I do, the main site admin always seems to receive a notification. I’d simply like to know if you can add a way to block notifications from being sent to the site admin.

    Is this possible?

    PS: I manage sites for many various clients, so I leave my email set in their sites as the “main admin.” And, I’d like to not receive these comment notifications and be able to direct notifications to specific individuals (which your plugin already has the ability to do). Can you help?

    Well, it’s completely untested, so let me know if you encounter any issues; but I’ve added a site admin email option to version 3.1. You should find the checkbox right above the user role checkboxes in Settings -> Discussion.

    Hi Chip,

    I am also looking stop comment notification to the admin email address and I have version 3.2, but I don’t see the option to NOT send email to the admin. I see this: “Send comment notification emails to the site admin email address” but this is the opposite of what I want to do. Did something change from 3.1 to 3.2?
