How can I allow Users to Rate my music?

  • I’m building a indie music website which features many different bands (each band is a post). On each band page I placed a few songs. Currently I have an mp3 plug in that is working fine, but I need to implement some form of star ratings so that users can rate each song. Currently I use GD Star Rating but all it does is allow people to rate the over all page….

    I want put star ratings next to each song on my band pages which users can choose 1-5 stars for said songs. But I haven’t found a way / star rating system that allows me to put more than one set of ratings on each page (which I need to somehow assign a unique identifier to each one)

    I know this may sound vague and confusing, but it is hard for me to explain, I am running out of ideas and would like your input… Any suggestions??? Please help!!

    I am glad that you’ve made a post bout preview tracks and rating them. I am in the process doing something similar but I have not found a good way or plugin to preview song. I am currently using Dewplayer. I like it but I love the way yours preview player’s appearance. Which plugin are you using?

    As far rating goes, I can not make it to work for my theme. Am still troubleshooting.
