How can I add the day of the week to my post date?

  • In the Dashboard you can change the layout of the date.
    – Dashboard > Settings > General
    – Date Format > custom: [click the link for help] or
    try something like

    l, F j, Y

    This creates a date that look like this:

    Friday, September 24, 2004

    Thank you very much. It would seem like that would have worked, but it made no change. Perhaps my CSS is overriding it somehow. But I can’t figure it out.

    I guess it only needed to empty its cache.
