    Hi.

I am going to open a math-oriented blog. And need to insert equasions (which I know how to make in ms-word).

How do I do that ?

    Thanks,
    Tal.

  • Hi Tal,

I developed a plugin that uses John Forkosh’s Mimetex alternative to Latex. The syntax is extremely similar, but this is much easier to install, and works on most server configurations.

You can download it from here: https://wp-plugins.net/?filter=mimetex

Information about syntax and installation can be found here:

Make sure you check out John Forkosh’s page for some good information about installation of the necessary 3rd party script.

You will need to edit the plugin slightly for this to work as I have not completely integrated this into WordPress. That’s for a future version.

    Hi dwees.

    Thanks for the reply.

I guess it is too complex for me. What I will do, is search how to turn the “math-type” objects into pictures.
(and that I will turn to office forums)

    Thanks :),
    Tal.
