How can I add comments to reviews of books?

The book reviews don’t currently support comments as I didn’t see a need for that when I initially built the plugin. Can you tell me about what your expectations are for reviews and comments? If there’s a strong case to include it, I can add it in.

I’m trying to make your plugin like Libraries are online and there is clearly need to comment. Please tell me which file i need to edit comments that would be displayed on the page of a book?

It would need to be added to the supports parameter of the register_post_type arguments in class-book-review.php.

I’m still not entirely clear on what you’re thinking with the comments. You say “I’m trying to make your plugin like Libraries are online” — if I go to a library web site, and I pull up a book, I generally can’t add a comment on that book.

However, if I go to someplace like Amazon.com and I disagree with a particular review, I can post a comment on that review, so I can see the value, I’m just not sure how I feel about it in this context. If I understood what you were doing a bit better, I might be swayed to add support (at least as an option).

I’d also like to see it added as an option, allowing users a space to comment on book reviews empowers the user to endorse and engage with other commentors of similar interests, which in turn can lead readers to other suggested books (and it’s respective review).

I saw in the Changelogs that this option has been added in the meantime. Great! Just what I needed!
