How best to hide hidden pages from Google

  • I noticed that certain pages don’t seem to stay hidden if you know the exact url in Ultimate Member. Am I missing a setting? I hid on the page/post and menu item.

    Also, how best to hide these pages from a Google Crawl. I added these lines to the robot.txt.

    Disallow: /user/
    Disallow: /members/

    Can you recommend one? I’m not quite sure of the process.

    I have certain pages showing up in the menu when a member is logged in. Logged out members can still go directly to the page with the right url. I guess I can password protect the hidden page but that seems like a 2 step process when it would be best if it was only one.
