• After some testing, I have the impression that it is just a fix percentage of the total basket added. There seems to be neither an option to set an individual values for emission for certain products or categories, nor is there any transparency where the values come from. It is therefore just a fancy checkout option for CO2 certificates with a 25% surcharge. Useless for me, why are the other reviews so positive?

    Hi Alexfran,

We currently have a standard calculation for shops that start. We need to have multiple product footprint lookups per shop to further enhance the accuracy of the calculations. We’re working hard on improving our algorithm so that this process takes less time.

Please note that our compensation is not done through purchasing CO2 Certificates but rather by funding real world projects that not only offset CO2 emissions but also improve on people’s livelihoods. Please refer to our website for more information on these projects.

Do you have contact details so we can elaborate on our services and footprint algorithm?

    Team CO2ok
