How are subscriber collected?

  • Greetings,

    Im planning to enable a newsletter functionality in my website but I have not much knowledge about this. I already read all descriptions and guides but I still do not understand how subscribers are collected. I need to know if the subscribers data is sent to an email (and you have to manually add that data into a subscribers list) or is saved automatically in the website DB and you can access to the subscriber list anytime to send newsletters.
