How are Status Codes determined?

    I have been trying to track down why a normal page would result in a 301 redirect when generated as a static file.

    I checked yoast, etc – and have just plain been unsuccessful in finding a cause. I am hoping that having a better understanding of how the status codes are determined will point me in the right direction.

    I have found more 301 redirected pages – this is super perplexing.

    Any thoughts?

    These are generated in the handle_30x_redirect() function in includes/tasks/class-ss-fetch-urls-task.php.

    I’m not sure exactly what your question is, but does looking at that function answer it?
