We’ve worked with several clients on developing a review process. Typically we use WP Reviews. When I setup the review page, I like to provide people that come to the review page with an option of leaving the review on the site, or going to a review site like Google My Business. Here’s an example
The most important success factor in obtaining reviews is to ask them directly if they will take a few minutes to provide a review of your product/services, and then stop talking and wait on them to say Yes. The biggest mistakes I see clients make is to either not ask, or make a statement like “I sure would appreciate it if you would give us a review.” In this latter situation there’s no commitment. Getting someone to say “Yes, I’ll give you a review”, increases your chance of getting one tremendously. Hope this helps.
