how am I getting blog messages/spam while only on localhost?

    hello, developing site on localhost. newbie to wordpress. WAMP is set to offline. yet I get “comments” from what is obviously spam, sheesh. If I am offline how do I get stop this stuff?

    not sure if I actually want a blog on my ecommerce site or even how to set one up.

    Are you continuously getting this spam?
    Usually when you install wordpress there is only one dummy comment.
    If you are getting spam comments continuously then please go to
    Settings >> Readings. Check the “Search Engine Visibility” and save it.
