• There are quite a number of plugins out there that don’t work well with BWPM out of the box. Mostly these are problems with minifying javascript or css. For this, BWPM has added the simple solution of printing scripts separately or excluding them from being minified.

Would it be an idea to create a list somewhere of know issues with plugins and give information about how to solve them (like which script handle to put in either the print separately or ignore boxes)?

This could be done in the FAQ, or by creating a sticky post in the support forum (or two, one for css and one for js). The second option might be better, because than anyone can easily add theirs.

I’m currently looking to solve problems with White Label CMS’s custom login css and All-in-one Event Calendar.

    Hi there,

Thanks for using BWPM. Actually there’s a topic for such purpose: https://betterwp.net/community/topic/144/wordpress-plugins-minify-compatibility-report/

But it has not been updated in a while (my bad I know). I have plans for version 1.3 of this plugin in which scripts and css files are scanned automatically, and you will be able to choose the handles (or filenames) to put into boxes).

Do you have a link to where BWPM is not working for you?

Ai1ec also doesn’t work with Yoast’s SEO plugin. Took me forever to untangle the problems that combo made.

I am also running the All-in-One Event Calendar. Enabling BW Minify is leading to a problem with the integrated google map. Once it is activated the google maps won’t display anymore. I added almost every script from the event calendar plugin to the exclusion list but it is not working. Has anyone an idea?

Sorry for the late reply. Been busy the last few weeks with holidays and organizing an event. My problems occur at the site https://www.hrffn.org.

The problem with the custom login page css by the White Label CMS plugin can be seen here: https://www.hrffn.org/wp-login.php. I had opened a separate topic for that some while ago, but hadn’t had any response there. Some of the custom css is working, but not all of it. An example of how it should look can be found here.

The problem with the Ai1ec plugin lies somewhere in the javascript. Just as apachelance I’ve excluded about every script I could find, but no solution. The problems as far as I can remember were in this page: https://www.hrffn.org/human-rights-film-series/calendar/. The fold-out functionality didn’t work. I can’t enable the minify js functionality now for you to see it, since we need this page active right now. After some 10 days, I could show it if needed.

    Thanks for looking into this.

You are right. Not only the google map is not working but some other functionalities of Ai1ec event calendar as well. I needed to disable minifying completely as I see no possibility to find the right script.

I found the file which seems to be responsible:
    wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/app/view/admin/js/pages/event.js

I tried another Minify plugin and added this one to the exclusion list and the calendar plugin worked without any problems. However using BWP Minify and adding it to the exklusion list did not work. I took a look at the cache directory and the event script is still minified.

    Any Idea?

Okay guys, I will take a look at the two plugins :).

    Hi…Did you find a solution?

bbPress and BuddyPress should be on this list as well.

Also prints a lot of PHP warnings if you are using it with Simple-Press forum (on forum page only):

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /wp-content/plugins/bwp-minify/includes/class-bwp-minify.php on line 627

<b>nearlyjen</b>, what’s wrong with YOAST SEO and BWP-Minify together? I’m using these two plugins together, no problem for me.
