    The plugin doesn’t have any control over this. The single record page is going to have it’s own canonical URL because it can be reached without the query. That does not mean the page with the query is not getting crawled: they are both getting crawled.

    When there is a list of links on a page (such as a directory or index), the crawler is supposed to follow them. Are you finding that content in your individual listings cannot be found with a web search?

    Only the canonical (the page with the [pdb-single]) shortcode is in the Google index, but when I follow that link the website give a 404 …

    Well, the plugin can’t respond with a 404, so you’ll need to look at possibly your permalinks or .htaccess file if you know the page that Google is linking to exists.
