how about an add-on to sync FB profile fields with the WP/BP profile?

    You might consider working on the official Facebook plugin instead. It has a pretty good framework, similar to SFC. Development for it is on github, the latest version there is considerably better than the latest released version.

    Registration is something they’ll probably want to support eventually. Might consider leaving a comment on their github anyway.

    Otto, can I ask for some more advice?

    I’m working on a new site where I would need extensive import/mapping of profile fields from FB to WP/BP and was looking at a couple of commercial plugins and realized they support different profile fields from FB, i.e. none of them seems to support mapping of the complete FB profile.

    My question is: is this a limitation that comes from FB or are these plugins simply not coded to map all FB fields?

    If I were to need mapping of most FB profile fields, any recommended plugins or if I would need to get a programmer involved to custom code this, what plugin would you recommend as a starting point, still the original FB one?
