How about a warning email, if sending of emails failed?

  • OK, you may think I’m stupid, how should it send a warning email, if it fails to send an email? Hear me out:

    What if the SMTP connection fails, why not send a warning email via the default PHP-Mailer? This feature would have saved my ass ??

    I apologize that this isn’t a feature we have available at the moment. We have considered a few options for providing users with a notice of failed emails, such as a secondary mailer, webhooks, etc.

    I do agree it would be super helpful, and I’ve made a note of your feature request so we can keep it on our radar as we plan out our roadmap for the future.

    I appreciate the suggestion! It’s always helpful to get insights from our users.
