    Hello.

I use WPPA global lightbox. Sometimes (many times) in images inside blog posts, if you hover the image, there is no magnifying glass. BUT the popup lightbox works right.

Also is there a way to change the magnifying glass to the usual “hand” ?

    Thanks

It seems that logged in users see the magnifying glass, visitors NOT.

Again this happens ONLY in images in Posts in WP blog. Not inside WPPA.

Can not reproduce this, see: https://betatest.opajaap.nl/test-page/ The aold lady is a wp image.

Fyi: the wp inage should have a link. This link will be modified by wppa to a link to lightbox.

Not sure what you mean. It has a link allright.

I would like to add also that it was working just fine for months, not sure why recently it doesn’t.

In any case, i disabled wppa lightbox as global and enabled again my previous plugin for lightbox. And works great as you can see.

I prefer to have one lightbox for everything that is why i wanted WPPA to handle that globally.

But it is not a major problem.

    Thanks

I very much agree with this.

Could you please be so kind to enable wppa lighbox global again and de-activate your plugin for lightbox, so i can have a better look on what is going wrong?

One more question: Is it intermittent or is it reproduceable? I mean, when you supply a link to a non-working image, does it never work on this image or just once in a while? (This is to distinguish between a timing and a programming issue).

Just did what you asked. WPPA for everything.

As for your question, sometimes it works, sometimes not. For example right now it works ok.

Ok, I will see what i did recently with the timers in the lightbox js and revert it where i think it may be related.

I will also add the hand (pointer) cursor as selectable option in Table I-G2: Magnifier cursor size.

I think that it hasn’t to do with WPPA but with caching and that is why when for logged users it always work (no caching for logged users).

I write this, just to save you from chasing ghosts ….

The “hand” hover works great btw with today’s update.

    Thanks !
