Hover Zoom zooms “too much”

  • WP noob here.

    Take a look at this page: https://2022.supportingfire.com

    When hovering over the icons in the middle, the hover effect resize the icons, but they crop into an invisible white frame. I just want the icons to get bigger without cropping. I have experimented with padding and margins but I just can’t get it to work.

    Help please! ??

  • Unfortunately I can’t access the page at all because of faulty SSL certificate. Would be good if you correct that so that one can look at all.

    By the way, such questions are often related to the used theme. If necessary, it would also be useful to contact their support.

    Ah, sorry about that. Since it was a subdomain that’s only meant to be temporary I never installed a cert.
    It should be fixed now, please try again. ??

    The invisible frame what you see is one of the elements surrounding the images. If you don’t want to have this effect, you would have to make the image smaller than the surrounding elements without zooming. So not 100% but e.g. 80%.
