Hover Video and Dynamic Tag

  • I used as a “Cover Image” my “Featured Image” via Elelmentor Pro “Dynamic Tag”. But the Image isn’t loading. Instead I see only the video file – maybe a conflict with the last Elementor Update?

    Unfortunately, I cannot create an example at the moment. And the website is private. To say it again briefly. In the “Hover Video” widget – the “Poster” (cover image) does not work. Please try to reproduce it.

    We understand your point. There is no issue with the Poster. We checked your screenshot and found that you use a video and a poster at a time. We want to inform you that the poster shows or works when the video is not set or missing. When you don’t set a video, the poster shows instead of the hover video. But when you set the poster and the video at a time, only the video will show. I hope you understand.

    All right, I understand. Yes, it works as you described. The only strange thing is that it worked before to display the cover image even when a video was set. That was one of the reasons for upgrading the plugin to Pro.
    It also makes sense to display the image above the video for a custom thumbnail or a clean design ??

    Unfortunately, the preview images of the videos are not always representative or in the post loop grid as I use them. A custom preview image or overlay would be a nice thing
