Hover Over Text Only (No Image) to Reveal More Text

    I would like to create a hover effect similar to the one on this page at the top (the three circles with ‘General Effects’, ‘Square Effects’ and ‘Button Effects’):

    I would like to use squares instead of circles. I’m looking for an effect which allows you to hover over the Title text, to reveal the Description text, without using any images (i.e. the text appears on a CSS coloured background only). Would I need the Pro version to do this? It looks like what I need is under “Style 31” on the “General Effects” menu. Please could someone confirm whether this is the case?

    As you want there have only one style (Style 31) which is pro effects.

    I have purchased the Pro version, but I can’t see how to achieve the same effect as at the top of this page:

    I want to display text without hover, and different text on hover – without using an image file. How do I achieve this effect please?

    As you want to change text into hover image, Its not available into present design. I will add this effects into next version and its will be publish with in 10-15days.

    Thank you, that would be brilliant, if it can achieve the same result as in my previous comments. It would be useful if any of the effect Styles could do that – text with and without hover.

    I have marked it as ‘not resolved’ but will come back and change it once the plugin has been updated. Hope that is ok.

    How are you getting on? I noticed that the plugin has been updated but it still seems that I can’t do this yet – text without hover and different text with hover. Please could you advise?

    It seems that in the “Add or Modify Form of Image Hover” window, if there was an option to just add alternative text instead of an image, that would do it!
