Hottest Posts of the day

Is there any plugin for the hottest posts of the day (or perhaps hottest posts of the week)…

I have one for the month (plugin in that looks into awstats for most viewed posts), but for a multi author blog, a more frequent collection of most popular posts would be a nice to have feature. So far my search yielded nothing.

Would appreciate any help on this. Thanks!
